In a world that often moves at a dizzying pace, taking the time to craft a special Valentine’s Day at home is a gift in itself. Wanna create a memorable experience without breaking the bank or being overwhelmed? A peaceful evening with our favorite person may be just what we need!

Spend your evening with an all time comfort dish that takes the number 2 spot for most searched Valentine’s recipe! This delectable pasta creation is a celebration of flavors, bringing together succulent chicken breast, al dente linguine, and the richness of fresh mozzarella cheese.

Classic Dinner #2 Baked Chicken Parm:

Recipe Time: 30 minutes  Wine Pairing: Pinot Grigio, Rose

2 Murray’s boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 6oz

1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs

1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 egg whites

fresh mozzarella

fresh basil

Your favorite tomato marinara sauce!

8 oz pasta for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease the cooking tray. Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise, so you have 4 pieces total. Pound each breast to thin them out.
  2. Mix both bread crumbs, cheese and spices breadcrumbs in a large bowl that the breasts can fit in for coating.Take another bowl and whip egg whites until foamy.
  3. One breast at a time, dip chicken into the egg whites, shaking off any excess, next breadcrumbs, gently patting the chicken as needed.
  4. Place your breasts on your cooking sheet. Lightly coat the tops of the chicken with cooking spray. Bake until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 160°F About 15 min!
  5. Remove from the oven, spoon some of your sauce over chicken, and top with generous slices of your fresh mozzarella. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 3-5 additional minutes. Top basil and serve over pasta!

But, what takes this Surf and Turf to the next level is the indulgent velvety white wine sauce enhancing the natural flavors of the seafood and meat. The wine infuses a subtle complexity, creating a sauce that is both elegant and comforting!

Classic Dinner #1 Surf and Turf With White Wine Sauce

Recipe Time: 25 minutes 

Wine Pairing: Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling

Ingredients

2 Creekstone Filet Mignons (or your favorite cut)

8 ounces Jumbo Shrimp deveined

1-2 tablespoons olive oil

White Wine Sauce:

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic

1/4 cup dry white wine (we used Pinot Grigio!)

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Season steaks all over  with salt and pepper. Heat a large iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear/grill steaks for 4-5 minutes each side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Allow steaks to rest.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter then add shrimp to the skillet. Season to taste with salt and pepper and cook for about 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add the rest of butter to the same pan and saute garlic for 30 seconds. Pour in the white wine, and allow to reduce for 5 min, while scraping any bits off of the bottom of the pan.
  4. Lower heat to medium and add the heavy cream. After sauce comes to a simmer toss in the parmesan cheese; allow to melt through the simmering sauce. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  5. Combine shrimp back and coat in sauce then serve with your steaks!
